I found these post-it notes in 2004 or 2005 lying on the ground in a plastic bag filled with men's dress shirts, a toothbrush, toothpaste and official documents. I kept them in my bedroom wall for some years, but I lost them.

Today I did something very out of the ordinary for me. My friends's football team was celebrating their 20th year, and I went to see their game after the festivities the night before. The photos are nothing special, but I had a good time.

PHOTOS I WISH I TOOK

My favorite myth is Laurie Bird.

She acted in Two-Lane Blacktop, had a relationship with both Monte Hellman and Art Garfunkel, did the still photography for the movie Cockfighter and shot Art Garfunkel's record cover for Watermark.

The record cover photo looks plain but the photo put into context makes it heartbreaking.

ART GARFUNKEL:
"All of those months in character had a funny effect. I was much closer to my unconscious impulses than ever before. Gut-level reactions to things were like lava, and I could feel them bubbling away. My feelings were razor sharp and I was overly tight. I thought, 'If I come home to my woman in this shape, I'm going to be dangerous.' I had a picture of myself as if I were a blade, or as if there were a knife in my hand and the arm controlling it was randomly, loosely swinging. And I said to myself, 'I'd better take a few steps toward getting out of this whole characterization. I may look normal, but I'm anything but a normal guy now.'

"That was the day Laurie died, as it turned out. At one moment I was peeing, and the Twenty-third Psalm came to me, like...religion has never come to me before."

Bird committed suicide in Garfunkel's New York apartment.

i took a public guided walking tour in a civil defense shelter underneath the city. it was kinda short so i didn't get to take many good pictures. got pissed off. i was trying to get a sort of 50's-60's photography annual magazine feeling with the first photo. second photo is the map of the tunnel. it was covered in dust and other tour visitors touched it with their fingers leaving traces.

These ones were taken last summer with the zoom lens off the camera while holding it in front of the camera. I often get bored of nice - it can turn boring very easily.
